Default Will a 17x9 wheels fit on the WRX?

Dependent on offset of course. How about a 245 tire? Too big? What's the widest that will fit?

volk shows a 245 for the front and a 225 in the rear with 8.5 inch rims in the front and 8.0 in the rear. see chart below

this was all volk japan had listed so i assumed it was for the GDA WRX because i can't see these widths fitting on a GC8, my 225/45/17 rubbed with rolled fenders
don't know for sure though.

255 is the pretty standard size for a 9 inch wheel
