Hks carbon-ti cat back invidia DP aem intake blitz fmic aem alt pulley grounding kit pushing 17.5lbs of boost on the stock turbo also got sti mount kit and some tein springs to keep the thing squatted. Probably will hollow out my up-pipe before i run as well.. suppose to be running a friend in a stock evo.. just kinda curious what i'll throw down. anyone think i should bump upto stage III maps?

I don't have a 1/4 mile track in my entire state, so I can only tell what I run at 1/8th and 1000 ft.
My mods: Cobb Stage 2.5, VF34 turbo w/supporting mods, turbo back w/no cats, had Injen CAI but back to K&N filter, sti shifter, tein springs, other goodies but not noted. Running 19psi. I went last week and raced a stock STi...it ran an 8.6 and I ran a 8.3....1/8th mile. Not sure if truly accurate 'cause timers were messed up. Second run said 7.3 which I know isn't right, I wish. Before the turbo upgrade, I was running 8.5 in 1/8th and 11.1 in 1000 ft. If the Evo is stock, I would guess you guys would run neck and neck. Winner will be decided by the driver and reaction time. |

From your mods I'd say you'll be running 13.3's to 13.5's depending on where you are located.

Its hard to say what you run unless we know how far from tuned you really are. I would say 13's for sure. I also am guessing you will take the Evo.

Anywhere between a 13.0 and a 14.5.

i've drag raced a LOT in my lifetime... heh...
I just upped my maps to stage III tonight. feels REALLY good... i'll be running my bfg r1 race slicks as well. I'm thinking a 13.5 would be a good time to shoot for, and anything below that is awesome. |

I am saying with the race slicks that you prolly wont make it to the 1/8 mile!
So I say you don't get a time, because it is closer to tow you back out to the starting line. |

Besides, I would rather spin and get more mph than break my tranny any day of the week!!!
When I had the RS on nitrous, I sprayed out of the hole. Ran 40 PSI all the way around to keep from biting too hard. Still cut 1.8 60's. |

heh.. i hear ya.. no slicks..
need some slippage to make sure it doesn't bite too hard to snapp a shaft or bite some teeth off. I'm just use to racing FWD hondas, and slicks made everything better. Plus, those trannys were hard as nails, and could take a good beating. I'll take it easy, and just run the stock tires now... before i run the slicks, i'll make sure i have enough loot to replace the tranny. thanks for the input, i do appreciate it. |

Hondas, you only really need worry about axles.
Just run the stock rubbers. They will hook good enough for you for sure. |
