Ever get any clutch smell? Starting off a few times in a row from a stop in the deep stuff I got a little. I'm no noob with it comes to a standard but still got some. Was a little concerned, after that I went for less smooth, more wheel spin.

Burnt clutch by being in snow? I'm confused. Because you were teasing the clutch to prevent wheel spin?

those with a 4EAT, can you verify the transmission mount uses 4 bolts to mount onto the cross member?

when I looked under the car, it had 3 bolts mounted to cross member..

I'm guessing either wrong part or when car was fixed, cross member was replaced too...

I found in deep snow, making the transition from stopped to wheel spin I needed higher rpm and to quickly slip the clutch. After a few times trying to get out and moving I had a little clutch smell.

Most of that problem came from me not being very gentle.

I know this has been asked before but google is not working out so well for me right now. Will a stock '12 WRX cat back fit our cars? The cut off is '10 correct?

11+MY started using quads on both the sedans and hatch. Not sure what you have. Sedans will fit, but could be close enough for paint damage. Hatch won't fit without rear bumper modification.

Edit: bumper modifications are needed for my car with oem defuser on the back.

Best bet is after market for same year as your car in either sedan or hatch. Unless someone is giving you a 12 setup.

Yes.

Here's my hatch with a 2012 WRX. Makes it sound kinda like a G.
(I see you're in BX, If you wanna hear it in person I'm local)

Not perfect, but I love it. My car, my mods .

How do you guys clean off your cars with all the ice and snow, etc?

I got on the highway and had crazy vibrations, so I pulled off and parked at a gas station. Looked behind the wheels and found a giant chunk of ice stuck behind one of them. Got back on the highway and the vibrations are gone. Granted, I should have checked this before I even started driving.

I can still feel some small vibrations, but it could just be the roads - I guess I'm just worried that there's ice built up on axles or whatever. I know it'll melt off eventually, I just don't want to damage anything and was wondering if there's anything you can do besides spray it with warm water/drive for a long period of time.

Some pics from Saturday:

Pressure washer. Just go through a touch less wash and you'll be good

Best to ask your local park agency..

They will point out both private dirt roads that WILL put you in jail, and public dirt roads.

It just seems most off roading spots are like for trucks

this was in colorado, marked as a jeep trail... had no problems, but its just reading where you want to go to prevent damage under car, and taking it slowly.
