39 here! Just traded my 2013 wrx hatch for my 2016 WRB STi! Worked at the Lafayette In plant when Japan introduced the first USDM WRX and STi! I've wanted an STi since 2004' finally got one!

39 for a few more weeks and got my 2016 WRX because I was tired of 10 years worth of SUVs and wanted something fun but still safe to drive my daughter around in.

42.
Went the entry luxury car route with 98 Infiniti Q45, then a 2005 Acura RL, but these cars were no fun to drive. I don't have the kind of income to afford AMG or M cars which are the best of both worlds in my opinion. Thoroughly enjoyed my 2010 manual Acura TSX with a downpipe, CAI, and springs which my daughter will get in a couple years but missed the AWD of the RL so thought this was the natural progression.

2016 WRB limited. Arriving late April. Will be my 1st turbo. Will be my 1st Subaru.

45 here (just hit 45 a few days ago). My 16 WRX Limited, has CVT + eyesight. More gadgets + gauges than you can throw a stick at.

The only mods I have done have been mostly cosmetic. Window tinting, weather tech custom mats front/ back / trunk, led replacement bulbs here and there and Rally Armor mudflaps. I also put in a dash cam front and rear, just to deal with the knuckleheads out there.

33 here...

When I initially joined the boards back in 2004, I had an 02 Sedona Red Pearl WRX that was heavily modded in and out. In 2006, I blew the head gasket and pretty much grenaded the short block not long after hitting 330whp.

Now, I have a 2016 STi. Bone stock for now... In a couple of weeks I will be pouring a decent amount of cash into it. Planning a gradual build to eventually hit 350whp. Initially, I will start with an AP and Stage 2 equivalent that I will get protuned.

I'm turning 30 in a few weeks and I'm actually buying my first WRX after having a legacy GT wagon, 350z, and an outback.

Exterior mods will be clean and simple, wheels, light tint, fogs.

If I could find a decent 5 speed legacy gt wagon ltd I'd probably go that route because I just can't find a WRX with a decent interior (short of the 2012ish+ models that are outside my price range for a car that will see the track).

Your age really shouldn't matter though if you like your ride stanced, go for it. You like huge wings? Go for it. The older I get the more I laugh at my terrible mod choices when I was younger.

More and more I appreciate "track cars" and if I see anything with a roll bar in the back window and zip ties holding on part of a fender I know I would like the owner haha.

I'm 38 and just bought a 2016 sti. I don't care if people think I'm too old, I'm modding the hell out of my new ride.

I'm 36 and just bought a 16 WRX Premium this past January. I've been wanting one since I first started watching rally racing back in the mid 90's. This is my fifth Subaru (most were from the 80's) in all and not my first one with a turbo. In high school I had a 1986 4WD XT Turbo Coupe with a 5 speed and the electro-pneumatic suspension with height control. In some sort of sick twisted way I still wished I owned that car! The good old day of owning Subaru's before they were cool.
