I have an old realistic CB I'm trying to figure out how to fit in the car; it's about 3X the size of your cobra. I had it mounted in my sunfire back in the day. I also had that Alpine HU in the sunfire! |

Parents records, insurance company looks at this to verify whether to give you discounts or not. So if your parents get tickets yearly, then have fun with insurance. Your own records: Insurance companies look at your grades, and determine how much common sense you have from them. for example, F students get marked higher, so you infact, could be a drop out, when an A student will get some amount of discount. /rant. i recently completed some dual projectors for my LGT using the highbeam glass headlight assembly from a 95 infiniti J30. iwas kindof in a rush to reinstall them the day i did this, and the headlights need a good cleaning. i used marine adhesive and silicone tape to secure the new projectors in place. baddd move, the glue was too drippy and sticky, and got erverywhere.
i used liquid nails 30-min set glue to finish the job. much better. 20120405_1625271 by tommyburkart, on Flickr 20120428_024600 by tommyburkart, on Flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/tommybu...th/7125332277/ |

The J30 headlamps are fantastic actually. they would slide right into the Impreza headlamp space nicely. someone try it! i bought mine for $20 each froma salvage yard.
here's the J30's dual projector setup headlights --- once all the glass and plastic chrome shroud is ripped away. it even has levels for all the projectors! thanks bro, no doubt. you mean the last pic, right? yea those are super fogged. i picked them up for cheap thinking i could clear them and sell them for a profit, but the entire thing has to be sanded down and polished exhaustively. after like 3 hours and 6 makita battery packs with sanding attachment i gave up. just posted the pic as an example of how versatile the j30 headlight components are..

yeah i realize its not nearly as good, but i was sitting round and needed something to do, the metal itself actually is pretty stable compared to some you see where people use steel cable, so i agree with you, im sure a fully welded version would be better but for 20 bucks and with basic tools it handles better now in the twisties for sure..
