Is there much difference in performance? And what can you live with? Price, looks, etc.

See what you can get to sell it... I would personally stick with the wrx but if you like the other options that much more then go for it

Ok I decide I'm going to keep it. I was just pissed at this car add posted this thread... It's just slow and with my budget I'm on it's going to take another year till I get where I want to be with it speed wise. Going from a muscle car that had 315 hp at the wheels to a stock tuner is a bit different

Why would you even consider replacing it with a non-turbocharged car? (RS)

I mean I just straight piped it with a Y to duals. I'm saving for a access port so I can tune it when I get a down pipe. Also want to save for a turbo upgrade after stage 2 I just need to drive a stage 2 to see the difference

This thread hurts my brain.
How do you expect anyone to provide you any help with the information you've provided us? A RWD muscle car with 315rwhp is really nothing to brag about btw, but back to the question. Should you keep the 08 WRX or sell it for an RS or an 07 STI, hmmmmm. Let me ask you a few questions. 1. What's the purpose of the car? (daily/track/strip/autox) 2. What' your budget? 3. Do you own the WRX or are you making payments? There are many modification paths that you can take that will make the car significantly faster in a straight line (upgrade turbo, turbo back exhaust, injectors, fuel pump, tune for e85), and will cost far less then the price difference of your car and the sti (easily 7 grand or more). If you think the WRX is slow why are you even considering an RS? I'm just having some troubles trying to figure out exactly wtf you're trying to do with the car. |

Keep IT!
All u need is to upgrade the suspension then go stage 2. I went all out and got a FMIC,injectors and turbo. It was way to much and sometimes wish I had moved slower. Good luck on your futher mods!
