Default Recall for ecu being reflashed

I was just wondering if the delaer will install new O2 sensors when they perform the recall? I just got my check engine light to come and go twice in the past week and its because of the O2 sensor response being slow. My car has 53k miles on it and I still need to get the recall I was jjust wondering if people that had the recall performed got the O2 sensors replaced for free?

You mean the ECU reflash recall? I had the same one on mine and they did not replace the sensor; they just did the necessary reprogramming. I never had a CEL before, and I haven't had one in the 1000 miles since I had it done. But random CELS was why they issued the recall. Just bring it in and have them do it. If it still throws CELs, just bring it back to have it checked out.

I had my O2 sensor replaced under warranty.. then the ECU flashed months later from recall.

I don't know about anyone else.. but that ECU flash fixed my 3500-4000 hesitation..

IT ROCKED!

Same here.....It not only fixed the hesitation, it also fixed the pinging I was getting at different points between 3000-4000 RPM.

Well we'll see how it goes at roughten. I made the appointment and they said they would replace the O2 sensor if it required it but they had not seen many that did require it. Well a scan of the codes says the O2 is slow so we'll see if they replace it with the Recall
