Yes it is....... And it'll be there a little bit longer now! Going to do a short block on it. And maybe a oil pan also.

I was starting to think you were only going to make a thread in the MCG... I like it.

Yeah I always look at it for exterior styling inspiration. Very nice looking car. I did not realize that you do not have a built motor.

It looks great in person. I really like the way they mounted the oil cooler. Actually, if I remember correctly, Joe used your car to show me how they mount the Defi gauges on the A-pillar. My car will be in Goodspeed shortly. The Cosworth shortblocks are amazing and Todd the Subaru mechanic at Goodspeed has gotten 40k miles out of his and it still does not burn or consume oil. I already have a Raw Performance track series SB otherwise I would have gone Cosworth. My stock shortblock gave out around that mileage so it doesn't really surprise me. I guess my Dominator 3.0R turbo finally did it in. Now that I have a built SB I am going to go for the new Dominator 5.0XT-R.

How much power are you expecting to make? It is a twin scroll rotated 30r right?

the problems coming out of my short block are very surprising and unplanned but what can you do right? how is that raw performance short block? yeah im still looking and reading on what would be best for my car but i'll post here to let you know on what i go with. and the turbo is a new ams gt30 vband turbo! i am expecting 360 or hopefully 375 whp on pump gas and if i do that cosworth i could probably get 435 whp on 101 octane with lil more boost.

I love my Raw Performance block. Runs awesome. The only problem is that the owner/operator of Raw Performance is a guy named Ron and he recently got into a car accident in the Czech Republic and is in the hospital over there. So he is for obvious reasons like building engines right now. The great thing about his block is that it is only $4200 while the Cosworth is quite a bit more expensive.

With my new build I told Joe that if I don't hit 500whp on e85 I am going to be pissed and I will sell the car. lol

Blouch Dominator 5.0 XT-R. It is pretty much the largest stock location turbo on the market. Supposedly it is bigger than a run of the mill 35r.

Yeah, it also helps that I am friends with Todd, the main Subaru tech there. They are taking care of me so far. I have to stop by the shop tomorrow or Monday to drop off about $8k to get some stuff on order and what not.

Yes sir. Joe has been finding me tons of APS stuff for my build. The only problem is I will have to have all the piping powder coated because all he can find is stuff that is red. I guess I will just have to stop in on Monday, no big deal.

Mine is not in their right now. It is in the body shop after a minor incident. I need a new front bumper so I am ordering a Zerosports front bumper and sideskirts through Joe at Goodspeed. Once the car comes out of the body shop it is going straight to Goodspeed.

I think the cosworth shortblock is going to be best for your setup. We can always throw cosworth bearinging in it tho.

Yeah Cosworth engines are awesome. If I was willing to dish out the money at the time, I would have had one in my car. I would really love a set of cosworth heads, but I can't justify like $4700 in engine heads when you can have an awesome port job on stock heads done for like $1700.
