Default Shipping from Japan

Does anyone have any experience sending medium sized items from Japan (or Asian countries) to Canada?

I have some seats. I need to send them back toCalgary. I'm looking for a door-to-door shipping company that offers surface shipping (price is a concern, how long it takes isn't).

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

You're in Japan? Try KuroNeko....I can't remember the actual name of the company. But you can see their add, it has a large black cat carrying a smaller black get. (hence kuro neko.).
I sent some packages through them when I returned to Canada. It took about a month and a half but was pretty reasonable.

Thanks for letting us know, and no, I wasn't going after them, but it's nice to know how much. I want LHD STi seats, and if the price is right, new age STi seats.

Yeah, that's about right.

If you've lived in Japan then you surely have experience with the Takkyubin (kuroneko thing). That's about as door-to-door as it gets. There are other companies that do local shipping. I don't know if Endo Unyu ships to Canada but a lot of folks in California have used them.

No matter what, the shipping isn't going to be cheap. Sea freight is the way to go but it does take a few months still.

Where did you find the seats, out of curiosity? How long have you lived in Kyoto? I'm looking hard for a car right now, so if you have any hookups in the car biz, I'd appreciate any leads!

I tried Kuroneko, but unfortunately their size restrictions are actually less than the post offices

I've only been living here for about 4 months now.

Sorry, I really have no hookups
