Default Public Service Announcement for Motorcyclists in MD..

Seems as though there is a jackass on the loose in MD. He seems to think that he is judge, jury, and executioner for any on 2 wheels.

Quote:
John Parks quoted on CrownVic Forums, " every time I see some %!$#*& driving 90mph+ on a bike coming up in the rear view, I "politely" pull right in front of him..

never been hit once, but I've seen a few nasty wipeouts...

not my fault, the guy was driving too fast for traffic."
Edit: In light of the fact that the previously posted address/phone number information was not that of John Parks, I have removed it, but left the original link t the post of this jackhole.

I heard that the address they had for him in Reisterstown wasn't the right one and that it belonged to some 75/yo guy.

CrownVic dude is intentionally and deliberately cutting someone off. He should be forced to take a taxi or public transportation for the rest of his life. Inexcusable behavior.

Please explain how murder is a justified punishment for speeding.

And of course, I am sure you have NEVER exceeded the speed limit.

And explain to me how hunting this guy down is justified punishment for what he's doing? Somehow I dont think people are looking for him just to have a friendly chat.

I'm not condoning what he's doing. Its irresponsible and likely to end up killing someone. What I am saying is that his "victims" are not blameless.

No, you didn't. But why do you think they're looking for this guy's name and address? Usually when people do something like that because they're pissed off at somebody it isn't for benign reasons.

Chill the F out.

I am not the guy looking for this man in Crown Vic. Take it up with the people who are.

The irony is that hunting down the CV guy is not that much different than running down speeders, which you seem to be all for.

I never said either one was right.

I find it amazing that this guy can have such a hatred that he wants to actually hurt other motorists. I think he should be punished. If he is actually doing this...he should be stabbed in the neck with a fork.

90mph is fast...but I've seen it done, and I've done it. When the speed limit is 70, flow of traffic is 80, so 90 isn't that fast.

You really are a dumbass, aren't you? Did you miss the part where I said, and I quote "I'M NOT CONDONING WHAT HE'S DOING. IT'S IRRESPONSIBLE AND LIKELY TO END UP KILLING SOMEONE." What I am saying is that maybe bikers should think about it and say "Hey, we're already in a lot of danger from unaware motorists. Maybe we shouldn't be exacerbating the problem by going 90mph on the streets."

I don't see where there would be any issue if the motorcycles keep their speed under 75mph? This seems like the root cause to me.

speed of traffic is often close to 90 here in STL. 80ish is commonplace. below 70-75 and you will get run off the road, threatened, shot at, etc.

My cruising speed was 82 this morning. I got passed. Alot.
My question is, what's the speed limit, and more importantly, the flow of traffic speed in this spot of MD?

I have a feeling he's targeting the ones whos speed greatly exceeds the speed of the flow of traffic. Otherwise, he's just an insufferable prick that probably deserves some time in jail.

RAt,

If I were you I would remove that mans personal information from your post ASAP.
Actually I'd have never posted it to start but still.
If something down the road happens to this gentleman and he, his familys attorney or the police get wind of it you may find yourself liable.
Why people do stuff like this on the interent I do not understand.

As for the topic itself, MommaJanq taught me as a child that two wrongs do not make a right.
The bikers doing 90 are wrong just as is this guy for doing what he's doing endangering himself and everyone else who just happens to be sharing the road with eh and the panic braking/steering biker.

Not streets but freeway.
Which is OK in certain parts of the world.
But apparently gimps in ny or fat old people on Crown Vics can't handle it.

Who cares. Let them wipe out on their own, no need to help them out. This should not make you this upset. You might want to look into some anger management classes.

Yeah, and when they wipe out they launch their bike through the windshield of a minivan and take out a family. Brilliant. They're only hurting themselves, right?

I have no problems with speeding. Hell, I do 75+ on the highway. Excessive speed is a problem. If they're going so fast that they can't haul it down and have to lay it down/wipe out, that's just way too fast.
