Default Wolf Ridge Hillclimb 2007 - Western NC - SCCA

Wolf Ridge Hillclimb for Sports Cars

Presented by Prestige Subaru - Asheville, NC

Well, it is official! Sanction is in place, sponsors are coming on board, and progress with site owners is going very well.

Everyone that has seen this venue thinks that it will rival the famous Chimney Rock Hillclimb, which was probably one of the most famous motorsports events in Western NC.

The run is just under 2 miles in length, and carries over 800 feet of elevation change from start to finish. 42 turns, with 3 - 180's. The pavement is smooth and new, the event is only about 7 miles from a major interstate highway, and has on-site lodging as well as lodging about 10 minutes away in Mars Hill, NC.

Prestige Subaru has come on board as our title sponsor for the event. We have also secured sponsorship through Cool-Shirt and others.

The official website is now open at www.wolfridgehillclimb.com

This will be a NO-NOVICES event, full TT license required as well as all standard required safety equipment for hillclimb events.

Come out and help us make the first one a great one, and be a part of Motorsports History in this area!

So far we know of 2 Subies that will be running the event. Steven Rankins from Team Boxer4Racing.com in Street Mod, and Jerry Hagan from Deadbolt Enterprises in Super Production. We'd love to see some other Subies out there dueling it out!
