Default 1991 legacy EJ22 blown head gasket at 100k?!

Well I had this engine put in 20k miles ago after the first engine died. I guess this engine is at about 100k miles and it has a crack in one of the head gaskets. I have the money to do basically anything that needs fixing to it my question is what should I do?

New gaskets and labor will probably run about $1000. This price is dangerously close to putting in another EJ22 and that price is pretty close to going crazy and dropping in something else.

Just looking for opinions; repair, ej22 again, ej25, ej205 or an EZ30. The last 2 will require more work than the first 2 but I love this car and will do what it takes to keep it running forever.

If you look in your local forum you can prolly find an ej25 rebuilt for 600-800$. I saw one in the MWSOC today actually rebuilt DOHC I think for 800$.
I would drop the cash for a bigger engine personally.
