'07 WRX stg 2 dyno tuned by Dent Sport - 220whp/320tq - Thoughts?
My brother just got dyno tuned at Dent Sport Garage using Enginuity's software. He's happy with the tune, but I'm curious about a couple things.
Is that massive torque spike normal or safe on the drivetrain for that matter? Should it hold torque longer instead of just 'puke and die'? Mods are - ebay TMIC, 3" TXS catted TB, k&n drop-in air filter This is all I have from him at the moment. He's asked DSG to provide him with the AF mix. He scanned the sheet himself, that's why it's in B&W.

its perfectly normal my car puts down 260whp 345wtq and the graph looks the same as far as the torque curve goes.

looks like over 300ft/lbs+ is normal for us 06/07 wrx owners on stage 2 now. Not a fluke anymore. Be nice to your trans and shift smoothly, dont jam into gear and you should be fine. Theres some 20g and 18g wrx's with stock trannies around doing just fine.

lol thats what i love about the td04 on the 2.5 liter engine with the right mods and a good tune it becomes a torque monster. and its great for autocross cause it has instant spool up.
