Thanks. I'm switching out the hardware. As it is I don't use them when there are passengers in the car.

Those are most definitely bolts, not rivets

looks OK, but what happens in 3 years when you want a new phone, and you buy a Samsung, or the new IPhone doesn't fit the hole, or IPhone changes their cord again, or you try to sell the car to a guy that owns a different phone?

looks nice. I also prefer silver to grey. I may have tried a slightly less bright silver, but looks good.

One of my recent projects -- plastic welded a single gauge pod into my A pillar, and then suede flocked the whole thing (all pillars are flocked)
