Duly noted and updated. I hadn't seen it outside of color swatches and just read someone's apparently incorrect speculation that it matched John Deere green.

congrats man! didn't think you had it in you.

For what little serious wheeling I'll do, I'm thinking the AEV 2.5XT kit. With a JKUR, a 3.5" lift is probably better for actual clearance given the LWB though. I like the anti-dive and on-road benefits of the AEV kits and they certainly will handle how I intend to use the rig offroad. I'd like to move up to the Bilsteins with external reservoirs just because they're sweet looking at there are times where we'll be running extended distances on rough fireroads (where they will help) but not sure I want to spent 2.5x the cost. |

should say....the MW3 is now the third vehicle and doesn't get driven daily. I've got a new BMW to buy parts for as well as get a few things for the SRT8 (DiabloSport tuner, etc). this stuff adds up FAST

Thank you. She was more surprised than me, which is a pretty good start.

I like my TeraFlex lift, but I love the Fox Shox more. Once I get the rack on, then a front bumper and winch, I am thinking that a lift upgrade may be in order. Naturally, with the additional weight the vehicle will ride and handle differently. |

Also...there's the matter of resale value. AEV stuff holds strong, just like Cobb Tuning stuff does for Subaru. |

I love my rock krawler 2.5" max travel lift. Im using bilsteins for shocks. For a two door it rides really well. If you go back a few pages you can see a pic of it.....same color as yours but with a soft top

If you want a street jeep you can use offroad AEV is a great choice. THier manufacturing is top notch. If you want a hardcore rockcrawler, go buy a welder and start learning... or hit the lotto. |

I dont think aev advertises their stuff as hardcore offroaders but more along the lines of an overland type use. I do believe there are several companies out there that do a good blend off hardcore ability with street ability. Pricey yes but no more so than going out and buying a nice welder, torch, plasma cutter, pipe bender and other fab equipment. Being a weekend warrior, i will let someone else do the R&D for me.

I don't plan on using my 2012 on anything "hardcore" like I used to do with my old rigs for quite some time, but I will still be buying something other than AEV for that reason. Probably Rock Krawler. |

I like the Savvy stuff the most personally. I like RK, but I don't love the joints they use plus the arms aren't double adjustable.

Looks to be identical to the currie/JKS stuff, an old time favorite of mine. Expensive as hell but awesome products. What's the diff? |

Not a fan of the wheels, looks lifted btw. Also the color is off just a touch. It's needs to be a little bit darker, just a little bit.

I still like the color, it's close to Rescue Green ('07 color, I think) which I adore. |

I think the problem is, or the way I see it, is that there is an aged element to the vintage green color that I think it should be. The 2013 color looks new.

There seems to be a touch of beige as well. I'd like to see Sahara Tan come back again. By the time that color grew on me... poof... gone.

rescue green rocks. would have bought it if I could.
I saw a dark grey Jeep while picking up my daughter from daycare. I talked to the owner...he said it was a short run color in 2010. Looked awesome. Dark Charcoal I think. He had a lift and the spare tire and carrier removed and it made for a cool setup. |
