And worse... healthcare workers have to deal with the worst people on earth. You think people get miffed when their car has problems wait til they talk about supposed health problems they diagnosed with the internet.

Some more vehicle carnage for you. A little front end frame sway.

We had an is250 yesterday with lots of electrical problems and had obviously been flooded. Found the words "water line" written above the doors. Made for a fun time of connecting to the immobilizer to try and get the car to start

Nice looking well done two tone paint job on this Titan, however...........
The rear brake rotor has been completley ground to nothing....... The pads are completley gone and the caipler is just held on by the brake line, which hasnt snapped somehow....the bolts were completely severed off.......the caliper piston is fully pressed out. The shoes you see are the E-brake shoes.....again no rotor left! The caliper flopping around ground into the inside of the wheel.....so they decided to bring it in..... |

^I would have loved to seen your face when you took the wheel off, went to grab the rotor, and it was just GONE.

See. That once before but it was all but one of the rotors. The guy finally brought it in when he couldn't stop at an intersection. He almost hit the building driving up to the shop. He drove it to the shop because he didn't want to pay a tie truck to bring it and put all those other people in danger.

Wow.....especially wow considering how nice that truck looks on the outside. One would not be terribly suprised if this was a commuter car driven by a blonde or a hood rat, but I would not expect this from a externally/decently cared for truck. Shocking!

From looking at it, this vehicle struck me as belonging to someone who spent all their $ on how it looks/show doesnt spend/have any left for maintenence.
I am sure you know the type. It had crazy ass stereo/nav, body lift, custom wheels, steprails, BF Goodrich KA/TO mud terrains, lots of chrome, bed cover, tint, cant see it in the pic well but it has also has a front skid plate and bull bar. I am assuming they didnt put any of that on themselves so just those things I noticed add up fast. |

Um, if the piston came out of the caliper, how did the truck go about...you know...stopping and such?

looks like the inside face of the caliper stopped the piston from falling out, and leaking fluid. so you would still have 3 wheels stopping.

This thread is amazing! It makes me want to become an auto tech just to have great conversation pieces to bring home and tell everybody how stupid people are about their stuff. Ahaha. That Titan made me laugh, Their priorities are having a nice paint job and care next to nothing about their safety of them and others. ahaha
