Aquamist has flow diagrams on their site.

Installation in the windshield bezel is the best place, just remove the wipers and pop the plastic cover. More than enough room in there, just make some brackets for everything. Drill and tap either your intercooler or weld a flat onto your IC tubing for the nozzles. I would run 2 nozzles and put them in the endtank of the IC if possible.

I use the rear IC sprayer tank in trunk as my tank for the WI, just disconnect the sprayer and run it into the Aquamist pump. You will need to wire it up so that the OEM pump in the tank primes the AM pump. Wires can be found in the dash behind the sprayer button. Consult the online service manuals for what wire is what.

You are not going to find step by step instructions as this is an advanced mod. People that are doing this, usually don't need to ask. (no offense at all to you).

No offense taken
I have had a shop put the system in but they could not get it to work properly. I am definately not qualified enough to install it, but I just wanted to see if there was anywhere I could find some instructions that could help us solve the problem. The water was not spraying the pump was working but there was no water. Now I seem to have more then just that problem cause when I step on the gas hard I get no boost and a flashing CEL.

Know what aquamist part number 806-282 is for? It says yellow LED c/w fly lead, lamp holder & inline resistor. This was not installed by the shop.

I can help you, PM me. I like the install under the wiper bay plastic too. It's a great location. However, I installed my pump, accumulator, and pressure switch on the underside of my stock intake funnel. There room there right above the power steering reservoir. I also have a primer pump installed on the front of my wiper fuild tank. I just drilled a few holes and used stainless wood screws to screw it into the plastic. Works perfectly for that pump, and the AqMist pump could be installed there easily as well.

As far as your water flow issue, that is an intricate question. The 2D system has several built in safeguards that need to be adjusted to make it work. The two main things are pressure switch (not the pump pressure, but the one you hook into the boost line) and little screw on the DDS2 display (looks like a Phillips head). There's a screw "knob" on top of the pressure switch and the litttle DDS2 screw thing. They are both set at the factory, but may not work for your car. I can tell you how to adjust those to make the 2D work, but it's an offline conversation--much to detailed.

Hey this is quite coincidential....I'm flying in to Sacramento this Wed. morning and my 05 STI is in Matrix Intergrated right now getting a 2D installed and PDXTuning custom tune after. What mods do you have so far that you are installing a 2D and who's installing it for you in Sac? May be your shop can call PDXTuning and consult with them.

I don't have Aquamist in my STI but I do have the 1S in my Miata and have not had good luck with their pump. The first pump was DOA, it just shoke and made noise but didn't pump anything. Then I got a replacement pump which lasted less than a year and now does the same thing as the first pump. I'm so fed up with it now thinking to get another system.
