Default Sylvania 7443 led

I recently switched to all led bulbs, except the sylvania 7443 led taillight bulbs I got will only work one way. Ie, the brake lights work, or the taillights work, not both at the same time. Does anyone have experience with this, or other led tails? My car is an 04 TS, thanks!

Might need a resistor kit. Are you having hyperblink issues?

Do the bulbs you bought have dual brightness? Have you bench tested them?

I have had the same issue in our 2012 impreza, 2014 Crosstrek hybrid, and 2015 Crosstrek. I have tried all the replacements from Walmart and o'reilly auto. I have yet to find a way to upgrade the taillights to LED. I drive with headlights on all the time so I go through bulbs more than normal. The headlights were easy. I have been searching here for a solution but have not had luck yet. Hopefully someone has had success.

Nope, installed a digital flasher, gal at Auto Zone said the same thing though. These are the brake/tail lights.

Yep, nope, but both sides work. Only one side at a time though.

I might try some Morimoto's in a bit, they're $20 each though

I have some generics from fleabay, no resistors installed. I do have an electronic flasher installed to keep speed normal. My bulbs have zero issues and have been in the car for almost two years. Can't remember the brand, but they are a lot brighter than oem. They also fire a lot of light rearward even in park light mode. I'd rather them fire more outward and forward into the reflector like oem, but unsure if I'd be happy with the brightness and color of the type you bought.
