WRX intake manifold/TB question
I was wondering if anyone knew the functionality of the air passage located above the normal circle TB hold on the intake manifold? also if i were to place a blockage over this passage would it cause any engine problems? thanks BK

Your question is poorly worded...
If you're talking about the small hole inside the throttle body, on the top before the throttle plate, then that's the Idle Air Control solenoid air passage. The ECU controls what RPM you're idling at by how much air is sucked through that hole at an idle/when your throttle plate is shut. Don't plug it up. |
