Default 07 STI Tactrix Cable Pinout

So I was working with Tactrix/Open ECU to get the my 07 STI logging (tried Enginuity as well). They said it will work in Vista I got the driver loaded and ECFlash program recognizes the Tactrix as Open ECU 1.3 Subaru. But I cannot read and log because it will not make a connection to my ECU. I starts then closes loop.

Compared to the pin out on my APV2 ODB2 its different which might be fine. Does anyone have the a pic of their pin out I can look at?

Thanks.

Drivers are fine looks like the issue is 1.35 is not as consistent as 1.34 XP/Vista version.

Robbie are you referring to the refurb versions? I got one of the first APV2's that came out. My ODB2 is red with black letters.

Yeah the newer one has a black cobb sticker on it and I belive the pin out is different.
I'll take a photo of all of my connectors tomorrow and post them up if youd like.

I actually tune/ datalog with a serial data to USB cable and a AP V1 cable. I tuned an 07 sti yesterday with it with no issue but that was with cobb not open source.

EcuFlash doesn't do logging yet. In order for it to read your ROM image, the two green test connectors must by joined together before you start. But you will most likely never be able to read your ROM if your tuner locked it using AP or EcuTeK.

Thanks your the first one to actually shed some light on this. I got RomRaider working and its a great program and so easy to use pick your logging variables a window pops up and you set to log using the Defogger (I love that function)

Logs show boost gauge is out of calibration on both my 93 oct and Q16 maps by 4psi. Thanks for the help everyone!

How do I read the RomRaider map now that I logged??? It saved as an XML file, when I got to load a log to look at it it says .hex or .bin ????

Dan

You can't save maps as an XML file. You might have mistakenly put ".XML" at the end of the file name but it is not an XML file. Rename it to .HEX or .BIN.

I moved on to using RomRaider. It saves logs as XML. where ECUFlash saves the ROM as .bin or .hex

I was more interested in logging vs editing.
