I helped my friend install a lift kit on a jeep xj
It was a 3", but we broke both front endlinks for the swaybar (jeep is 12 years old).
Are there better replacements that oe, or do we just go with junkyard or replacement pieces? Thanks OT, I'm guessing somebody has some knowledge on this. Jay |

Something something only as good as the weakest link.

you can have a machine shop make new custom end links for fairly cheap. investigate custom ones or aftermarket since with the lift, you don't want to take any chances with extra stress on the stockers.

I'm guessing there are some with quick disconnects that'd be more suited. The lift is only 3" and I doubt the guy will take it off road too much, but its missing the stability of the swaybar right now in the front.
The lift we put on is a 3" Rough Country (coil front, add a leaf rear) edit: I'm lookin at that site. If it was me I'd get the nice ones, but he's poor. I forgot to mention that. |

the endlinks I listed are made for a 3-4" lift on an XJ, shouldn't be any problems.
And if he doesn't want to disconnect them, don't, no problems there either. |

My buddy snapped his front swaybar endlinks on his 96 gmc serirra off roading a while back.
He has to do 3 point turns to get into drive thrus and the like (32"s with no lift). |
