Well this is encouraging, first the potential for an Audi S3 on our shores in the next 18-24 months and now an Acura TSX AWD with a turbo engine. I like having alternatives to a Spec B, especially since a Legacy STI just feels less and less likely.
Another good option for a nice sporty sedan if they keep a 6-speed manual in it, add the SH-AWD as is in the RDX which can bias up to 70% aft as well as side to side, and an itteration of the turbo 2.4L that makes 240hp/260ft-lb. Maybe with the redesign/refresh, we'll get direct injection on top of the 8.8:1 compression ratio, who knows what that would bring if any, but it could very well be an excellent handling car with lots of content and could move pretty well. Now throw a Honda Factory Performance package on there.

I hope they get better than 23 MPG out of the TSX when its AWD turbo . Acura makes nice cars but Subaru makes nice cars too, the only real difference (number of driven wheels) is the price, the bells-and-whistles, and name recognition

I'm interested in seeing what happens to the NSX.
Rather than kill the RSX, they should redesign it into a hybrid economy sporty coupe. |

Does anyone else loathe the move by Acura to naming all their vehicles with 2 or 3 letter designations? Cadillac did this too and it bothers me as well.

yeah, the good ole "well, everyone else is doing it" argument
Integra, Vigor, Legend, etc were some of the coolest names ever slapped on the back of a car. It's a damn shame. I hope Subaru doesn't jump on the bandwagon. |

Subaru EJ25 STi , oh wait. they use that engine in a lot of cars.
Ah, here we go: Subaru i25i Subaru i25WRX Subaru i25STi Subaru f25X Subaru f25XT Subaru L 25i Subaru L 25GT Limited Subaru o 25XT Subaru o 30R etc. Yeah, that would suck. but I wouldn't be surprised. |

Somehow I don't find it the worst thing, it's a more systematic way of easily identifying significant differences in the models up front and digs a little deeper into the model with it's name. It's really an apples and oranges debate, sure one might taste sweeter, but the other is better for you, and it could be debated on and on. I prefer a naming scheme that is decisive and simple to understand. BMW 325i, BMW 330i, BMW M3.... or Audi A4, Audi S4, Audi RS4, Audi A6, Audi S6... It just seems so simple to me and simple is elegance.
