Where is a good place to get a helmet for track days?

Any particular brand preference?

For hotlapping/track day use they don't really care about SA specifications. Obviously though SA2000 is the latest spec helmet, even though any helmet will do.

Agreed. I bought my Shoei helmet there and the guy was friendly and cool.

Find out what you want then hit ebay! Thats where I found my Simpson helmet brand new in the box for super cheap! Just make sure the guy has a good amount of positive feedback.

By the way I HAVE a Simpson open face and that works well for me.

There is a Simpson World in Torrance on Normandie and like 223rd St. I got my open face helmet there for really cheap.
