I wonder what changes there will be. I was hoping theyd ditch the black cladded fenders for a colormatched variant, but from the limited pictures ive seen it looks like I can still see the corner of the fender is black plastic. Probobly just a brakes and suspension upgrade, though maybe we get a wing? I think the BRZ Ts got that cool carbon wing that looked like it came off one of the S cars.

All we need is those Brembos, Recaro seats and DCC with a manual transmission. Sunroof delete would be nice too. Keep the cost as low as possible. It’s going to be a great package.

Cladding isn’t going anywhere nor it should. It adds character to this car and looks great on the road. They should tweak the rear bumper a bit, hopefully with the facelift.

Be prepared to be disappointed. Saw the news came here to see if there was any more info here.

Like the wheels actually. Some suspension changes would be nice, but not expecting much in total changes. The redesigned rear bumper is needed badly but no way we get it with this model. Of course I am sure Subaru is going to ask $40k for it.

There was a leak awhile back that showed the same styling outside with just a bigger wheel package and brembos. Maybe a bit lowered suspension like the BRZ tS got.

that looks like the 6 pots?

no matter, better brakes regardless.

now if it has the 6 speed with DCCD, then that'll be huge and I'm excited for anyone waiting for Subaru to provide something better than the current WRX and I would rescind most of my comments about Subaru not caring about the performance enthusiasts.

sedans still suck though.

Those wheels... what the **** are they? Look like a 90's era hubcap.

The Wheel design is from the Viziv Concept. Should of had Painted them black with Machined facing in my opinion.

Hell no. Black wheels are WAY overdone and so 2010s. With the black plastic it’s way too much. The wheels look great.

I actually might buy this if the rear bumper is fixed and it has adaptive cruise with the manual.

If it's based on the Premium car, like the old Performance Package, it could be cheaper than a GT or Limited. It's like a Sport, it's an ASP increase in the middle of the line.

Considering the headlights, it doesn't look based on a premium. Looks like SOA regurgitated a name that really isn't applicable to this vehicle. Should have just called it a performance package and moved on.

With the 2.5RS, BRZ tS and now this, I wouldn't be surprised if thats exactly the case. Someone at SOA is trying too hard to resurrect old nameplates.

In a world of 50K Corollas, if they keep it around 45K, it will be a hit.

They should have thrown that design in the trash is what they should have done. There's way too much outward facing material, or maybe that's their goal, hide the brakes?

They're going to be so damn heavy with all that extra material, performance version here we come!

You'd really pay 15k premium for a car that would perform strictly worse than one you just did yourself? You could literally sti drivetrain swap this car, get 2 race seats, get a BBK on, get wider and sticker tiers, and probably still have money left for parts and a tune for 15k. Why?

Well, HE wouldn't because he never puts his money where his mouth is. He does like to brag about how an intake and downpipe gives it 400hp, but then again if I wanted 400hp on an ugly car I'd just buy a mustang, and that'd be stock levels. And it wouldn't sound like dog water.

Aesthetically speaking, the 2015-2021 model was way much better to me.
