ok first mod besides my sound system....what should I get ganzflow's or cobb's? I got a 2002 2.5s and well I think it is time for this mod and I want to know what you guys think, Also how easy it is to install. Money is a problem and I have heard that ganz is more bang for the buck but I am not sure...what are your opinions?
thanks for your time

I'm putting my bucks down on a Ganzflow and a K&N. The $ difference can be put to good use somewhere else... maybe a 20mm sway bar from a WRX at subaruparts.com. I haven't seen any hard dyno runs to back either one of them... I'm not one to believe butt dynos or mfg claims(although both seem to be respectiable compaines). If I don't gain any HP off either of them, I'm fine with it. They both look decent, sound cool and never need a filter replacement (if you go with the filter on the Ganzflow). Just my .02

Had Cobb's on my MY01 2.5 and it definitely gets 2 thumbs up, but I am sure the others are comparable as well. If you haven't already, definitely get a rear sway. Best bang for the buck mod and a noticeable difference in handling. Just my .02!!

New tires first; I can't believe the difference, and I'm really embarassed it took so long (and so many other mods) before I got some.

Get new tires for the summer and autocross Use the RE-92 again in the winter. You'll need something else then anyway, not that the RE-92 are that great in the winter, but you wouldn't want to mess up the nice tires then

Dr. Nick - I feel the same way about my RE92s...why replace them with only 21k miles??? When they do wear out I'm gonna get some Kuhmos for summer and Hakkas or Blizzaks for winter.

As for an intake, you could make your own aka ghetto fab intake. Remove all the silencers and replace the tubing with some stuff from Home Depot or someplace like that. I saw some tubing that I might try.
