Default Injector scaling - top level fuel control

should have put these current questions in to one post but Im generating new ones daily

With regard to injector scaling.. E.g. stock 550 sti injectors.

Currently scaled at 525 cc for arguments sake, I go logging and see I would liek to lean or richen things up across the board prior to fine tuning etc. Would a decrease in scaling generally increase the amount of fuel injected globally? and vice versa...

Apologies if a rather obvious post

Decrease the scaler to add more fuel (make it run richer than it is currently across the board). Increase the scaler to add less fuel (make it run leaner than it is currently across the board).

lower scalar = richer
higher scalar = leaner

Do not make the mistake of many & assume the Injector scalar is absolute; assuming that 550cc/min = 550cc/min injector scalar. ALWAYS start with a smaller value than what they are rated at. I recommend starting at ~85% of rated flow, which would be 468 with a 550cc/min flow rated injector.
