Default 225/50R16 on 16x8

I have a set of 225/50R16 RE050 Bridgestones and was wondering if the 16x8 Rota slipstreams would be a proper fit?

Of course... It might be a shame to waste those rare 8" wheels on 225's when you could just sell them to me...

but yes, thats an aok size to run.

easily.. I've run 205/40s for 2 years on 16x8s with zero problems, 225/50s shouldn't be a problem at all..

the 225/50r16 run great but I've been thinking about taking it down to 225/45zr16. The only problem is there aren't many options in that size.

225/50/16 is spec'd for 6.0" to 8.0". Could probably get away with 16x8.5" too

Anyway, they're apparently +48 so you could go wider. There are a few 245/45/16 tires at least...
