Remember the 2010 is still the narrow body. Fit would be fine on the 2011 probably but may need a roll or pull on the 2010. If I recall the stock wheel on the 2010 was a 17x7.

But with the 3mm spacers no probs at all. Next is coilovers to drop front 1.5 and rear approx .5 inch. Last edited by kracky; 06-08-2013 at 07:49 PM. |

I ran the same size wheel with a 235/35 tire on my wagon dropped pretty low on coilovers. I had the rear fenders rolled and was running -1.75* of camber up front and natural (~-2*) in the rear. The 235/35 is a little shorter than the 225/40, but you shouldn't have to do a whole lot of work.

Unsure on the 255 tire size being feasible? Saw this thread http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2201790 post #23 shows 245s didn't know if anyone has tried 255. Wanting to run the feals at most optimum handling height which I believe is 13.9 inches from the hub center. Please advise and/or correct if i am wrong.Thanks. I have read the first 78 pages of this thread and a few others. Hoping someone can just chime in if its been done. Last edited by Blingstrom; 06-08-2013 at 11:29 PM. Reason: have done some research |

The problem will likely not be fender rubbing as much as inner wheel well rubbing. That's a pretty high offset. But with the right height, which the 13.9 is a good height, you shouldn't need any fender mods depending on how tight your suspension is and how hard you drive.
But a good flattening of the inner lip (roll) will guarantee you will not rub the fender |

Thanks for the reply. That was kinda my thoughts too. I enjoy turning fast and hope to do some autox stuff in the near future after I get everything sorted. Trying to stick with a close to a stock offset but a wider tire for more grip.

I can confirm they will clear brembos with no spacer
Pulled from the enkei wheel thread "Wheels are RPF1 Black 17x8 45mm offset - fit perfect no issues clearing Brembos, however the wheels were roadforce balanced and the new thick weights they use were too tall and 1 got knocked right off immediately by the caliper up front. That wheel only had 1 weight on it, so I'm not real concerned." With a little research you can find anything EDIT: he is also running a 245/45 |

model: WRX Sedan wheel model: Rota SVN wheel size/offset: 18x8.5 +48 tire brand/model: None purchased yet (open to any options) tire size: 245/40/18 (I don't have tires yet, but was thinking this size) suspension: Stock alignment: Stock (would prefer no camber) fender mods: None (would prefer not to roll/pull) spacers: None Will these wheels fit my car with thiis tire size, without rolling/pulling fenders or adjusting camber? I read through nearly the entire thread and have gotten mixed messages. If this size tire wouldn't work without additional fender/camber mods, what size would I have to go with without worrying about rubbing? Thank you. |
