WRX is in pieces

Default NE track days

I searched but couldn't really find any, or anything recent. I want to get my WRX onto the track sometime this year and want to start with open track days and move into club races (or similar).

What options do we have in NE for tracks, I live in NH, and what kind of club races are there?

I don't want to do rallyx, I want to keep in pavement.

You couldn't find a race track in NH?? http://lmgtfy.com/?q=race+track+new+hampshire

There's plenty of track days out there via COM and SCCA. NHMS already has a list of some days where it's open test.

Ian, everyone knows there are no tracks in NH. Just like women don't drive cars and they aren't on the internet.

You could autox and keep it on pavement... But for road racing COM is your friend.

Thanks guys and gal.

And yes, I do know that about NHMS. What I was looking is what organizations are there for road racing.

THIS!

I'm happy my first track experience was with BMWCCA. It gave me the guts I needed and a little bit of seat time to be ready for COM.

Obscure tidbit: The first COM event I participated in involved a section of a non-paved road that had to be traversed. I don't remember what year it was, but it was some time int he early 1980's: The Turkey Trot Rally, a game rally that was traditionally held the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I need to bring the trophy mug to a COM event some time.

At least I wasn't old enough to be driving. You were allowed as many kids under the age of 12, so my sister and I didn't count. It was my dad driving, my mom navigating, and me and my little sister in the back keeping an eye out for whatever we needed to look for.

That sounds hilariously fun for the whole family.
