Default How many here are 30+yr/old and have a wrx?

Just as the title says. I like my bugeye but wonder how many people above 30 year old have a wrx and what mods do you have exterior wise?

I'm just wondering because this will dictate how I build my car when I pay it off. Im currently 28 and like the racer look, but not sure if it would look cool when im above 30, (ex. too boy racer)

I'm 32 and am stg 2 with a tune on my 05 sti.
I plan to do coilovers (stock struts are clunking)
and different rims, plus tints. Nothing to crazy, but I love the car.

I'm 39 and drive a Saab 9-2x Aero, which from the outside is bit more Audi A3 than boy racer. So far my mods are mostly suspension and drivetrain -- I autocross sometime and want to stay within STX rules -- but I couldn't resist the sound of an STi catback. A coworker of mine (who's about 10 years older than me) drives a 2002 2.5TS and she loves the bugeye look.

I wouldn't worry about outgrowing the car... the only problem might be if you've got a spouse who thinks kids require a minivan or SUV. Kids actually fit just fine in the backseat of a WRX or STi, but if worse comes to worst, you can always store it until you're old enough for a midlife crisis.

Awsome good comments. I was affraid that maybe I would outgrow the car and I really like the bugeye and don't plan on trading it in anytime soon. My wife likes SUVs but we already got a jeep commander for that wooHOOO. haha

I'll bet thirty seems really old to you. When you hit thirty, forty is as close as twenty. And it gets worse from there!

I had to wait until I was 48 to afford a WRX.

LOL my wife drives a Dodge Grand Caravan to haul all our kids around. Anytime my kids get in my car (once every 6 months) they ask why I dont have a DVD player...

+1 - Yes, unfortunately the early part of most peoples lives is when they have a house morgage.

I will be 32 in June. My WRX is pretty much stock except springs, struts, and radiator. My Legacy is modded but looks pretty stock.

I'm 36. The WRX is Stage 2 with an STI axle back, adjustable rear sway bar and a rear strut brace.

Exterior mods are summer wheels (Rota Torque), tint, Cobb and NESIC stickers on the windows. I try to keep a low profile.

31, tons of sound deadening! Annoying to drive on long trips! ( I have a lexus sc300 so I'm used to a more quiet ride )...

EvoIII/16G+Sti TMIC: 290hp/310tq, 04-05 tails, sti springs...

I keep it stock and boring looking on purpose...
