Default How bad is this?

If you accidently fill up the oil beyond the top dot on the dip stick how bad is it? Will this cause gunk up in the engine?

If it's too high then the crankshaft will be under the oil in the oil pan and at 5000rpm will churn the oil pretty badly. You should be able to drain some oil at the plug pretty easily if you're careful. I've done it before. Just catch it in a clean container so you can add it back in if you take too much out.
