Out washing the rex today when a boy about 8 years old and his sister about 12 come walking by. He stops, looks at me wiping down my car and says, "Your car must feel really good".

I looked at him while I tried to process what the hell was just said. I couldn't figure out if he meant the car felt good to drive or it was enjoying a massage.

After an awkward pause I replied, "Thanks, I guess it does feel good". They finally left and hear the sister ask "What does that even mean?"

Maybe I should go back in and say STi and see if he thinks I'm talking about a sexually transmitted infection

Someone who supports speed holes told me my Subaru is slow because too much air is getting trapped in the rear bumper.
I told him "Yeah, that's why my car is so slow..." Aerodynamics is the least of my worries lol.

Speed holes are gay.

okay, a little background, got new exhaust and took out the silencer tonight. on my way home, i stop at a gas station to piss and get a pop, as i'm walking back to my car a kid in a ricey civic pulls up to get gas, i get in my car and start it, he jumps like i scared the **** out of him and he says
"dude! you did a V8 swap in there?!?! I was gunna do a V6 swap in this but it's f***ing expensive!"
me: "nope, don't plan on it"
him: "really? thats one crazy mean sounding V6 then!"
me: *facepalm* "wrong again, stock flat 4..."
him: "bull****! pop the hood!"
me: just because i'm in no hurry to get home, I decide to see how much stupider his comments can get and open the hood "there, you see?"
him: "...wtf is that?!?!" *points at the intercooler* i go on to explain a little...
him: "oh, yeah, i got one of them!"
me: *double facepalm* "no you don't, you need a turbo first"
him: "chya dude, i got one!" revs his engine to show off the electronic bov sound maker...
me: *triple facepalm* strike 3, he's out "oh, yeah, i guess you're right" and i drove away...

^^YES!! Same here

What is it that makes them think that because a car is fairly loud (louder than stock) that its speeding!?!?

All those naggy old ladies/men that are out sweeping their ****ing driveways, waddle out to the end of the driveway and shake their fist at me atleast a couple times a week.. When i go the same speed through my neighborhood every damn time. Which is the speed limit. Gah

I've had a 40yro man point and yell at me going 20 in my neighborhood. Funny thing is i've seen him leaving in the morning going 35

My mom told me yesterday that the younger boys around the corner call me "the girl who drives the boy car".

Went to the grocery store the other day and as I was walking back to my car so were some young boys, they were driving a new Camaro parked beside me. Saw that I was driving my car and proceeded with the "no way's" and obligatory "I can't believe that's your car" comments. I turn to make a snarky comment and realize one of the boys is a family friends son. After that I got bombarded with car questions and was pleasantly surprised that they knew about subarus and didn't ask the usual dumb questions.
