Default Boost guage and firewall plug question

Hey guys i'm looking for the spot to run teh pressure hose for my guage and i cant seem to find it on the driver side. What i did find was a rubber plug covered by some carpeting/cardboard just above the brake pedal if iremember correctly...so 2 questions:

1) Is this the plug to use for the boost hose and where the heck does it come out in the engine bay, i tried running some wire thru there but couldnt find it on the other side!

2)I accidentally pushed the plug that was in there IN and it fell..where i dont know! its not below the car...anyone have any idea where it would have fallen and if i can get at it? If not do you think subaruparts.com would have this rubber plug for sale?

thanks
jason

there's a ledge just below the master cylinder, you'll have to climb under the car to find it though, that's probably where it is assuming you haven't driven the car since you punched it out

Unbolt the two bolts that hold the washer fluid resevoir. Move the resevoir, and you can reach down to that little shelf no problem!
