I will be arriving on Friday. I would like to get together friday night, for dinner, or just to get to know everyone. Our own little parking lot show?
I think driving in on Saturday morning together would be great. I am real close to the fair grounds (Holiday Inn), and am not real fimiliar with what is around, but I would drive away from the grouds if I had to, just so we could all follow each other in. I think saturday night is going to be a rest night for my long drive back to Boston, but I could be talked into something.

I'm going to show up early Sat morning. I am going to stay at school (Penn State) Friday night, and then book down in the morning. I'd be up for a b-b-q too, guess I'll just keep checking up to see whats going on. Looking forward to meeting a bunch of Subie gearheads!

wolve80 and NAT? Sorry, thing have been hectic, but are you guys signed up? Or are you just coming to see the show, and show support? Cause I dont have you on the list...wolve80, i think I spoke to you on AOL...right?

I think its agreed we all meet saturday morning, but I was more after a good time for meeting.

And I know I will not be able to attend anything Friday night, as I will be giving the not so great city of Carlisle my money in tickets. (hopefully not). ANYONE that wants to tag along (no racing NEEDED to tag along) is welcome, I will do my best to show them fun, and what I do around here every weekend.

Hey Andy,
Maybe Friday night should be a Subaru Cruise of Carlisle for anyone who wishes to attend? (I am not sure if you meant you would be driving around looking for some races?) If the show is as big as they say, I am sure there will be many people out on the town. I have stayed at Dickenson College once, but did not get much time off campus.
I am up for the Saturday morning thing.
I am not sure what others are planning to do Saturday, but I really want to walk around and take in as much as i can at the show. So I would really like to have some sort of Subaru meet.
If my girlfriend and I leave at 5:00 am on Friday morning, we can be there around 1 or 2 pm I think (w/ a lunch break). So I can make it to the grounds I think.

Yeah, I was not EXACTLY meaning looking for races, though if someone implies, its on I gotta be bad a little bit. I know with just the locals, the town gets packed on the weekends. So I think its safe to say, its gonna be OVER packed that weekend. I am definitly up for the suby cruise. Like I said, I will be there from 9am or so Friday till late on Sunday. For those coming on friday, or the ones coming late on Saturday, I dont know where the tent will be. When you get there, just ask whoever you need to, and they will point you in the right direction.

Thanks,
Suby

Post CARLISLE - your input needed.

15 days and counting. For information on who's going, and when go here -
http://www.subyprez20.itgo.com/shows.htm

As far as a cook out, or getting together before or after, I am open to suggestions. It looks to me like the only day worth getting together before the show would be saturday morning. You guys (and girls) need to pick a time, and I will tell you where. As far as afterwards, and times, you guys (and girls) also need to tell me when. I'd like to have this figured out before next week.

Thanks,
Andy

I'm planning to arrive Saturday morning, since it's a 9 hour drive for me from Toronto. I am coming down with some people that are part of the Isuzu Car club.

Looking forward to seeing you all there.

I forgot to mention, there are a ton of people I know going up there from different clubs, some Escort guys, Si guys, and others, estimated about 10-20 maybe more. We should all get together and toss a huge barbeque.

Ok, the Shows section link works now. There are some unconfirmed days on the list, but oh well. The show is less than 2 weeks away, i have so much to do My car looks like crap right now, scratchs, dings, chips ect. And about 3 million bugs. Oh well...

Looks like saturday will be a full day for us...

Have a Nice Day?

La de do da...got pulled over this morn, again. Hmmmm, this one was for, careless driving, and display of speed. Go figure...i knew I could outrun his azz. (ok, so I didnt try. But I gave him something to do at 7am). He was cutting on my car, saying if I wanted to speed, get a 72 nova, and disappear in the background, and I laughed at him, and invited him to some backroads, if he thought he could handle it.) He had no comment. What an *******. $93.50 big whoop. I'll get all my fine money back someday, when a cop follows me to closely some time in the middle of the f-ing night, when all of a sudden a rabbit jumps accross the road, and I slam my brakes on. F*cker!

Ok, I vented....huff and puff...

Well, all I have to say is, I can't wait to meet you! From this story and the other innocent/erotic story, wow.
I was just wondering what the final count was? If we are short, I say we register Colin and his co-driver on the list. That would be pretty funny. And your car has the stickers on it, so they may think your him.
I can't wait to see your car, I bet the pictures do it no justice.
See ya in a week!

Yes, I do believe we have the 20 needed, thus we have a tent. And the way things are going for me, I will have 21 points, no license, and be broke by the 20th. Ok, maybe not. BUT! My car, has over 10,000 bugs, 2 scratchs, paint chips on the hood, 2 dents and has a tint of yellow on it (pollen). Come next friday, it will probably still have chips, but the pollen will be off (temporarily*), and the scratchs will be taken out next thursday. And with the latest $93 fine, that will mean, no detail work. So I will have to do it myself....yikes! Could be scary!

But, I am just your average 20yr olf i suppose, cept for my car , somewhat, resembles a rally car. Call it rice or whatever, but I like it, and thats all that mattters.
