True, it definitely depends on location/volume but I'd say the majority of people are ordering them +/- a few hundred doll-hairs from invoice.

local subaru tint guy said 180 so I guess that's good then.

Im pulling mine over premium and limited! People are saying that the limited is worth the extra $1k. The premium is worth over base since it got moonroof, all weather package (heated seats, heated wipers, etc), and fog lights so.... but limited got leather and hids for $1k more.

Do it! In both cases the extra grand seems more than worth it to get what you want.

Haha, but I dont know how the Subaru leather seats are like, how long they last, such like that. With the HIDs, I want to do a headlight swap with someone that got a 2011 because I hate the chrome headlights, I would need to find someone with a limited 2011 since the projectors are little different I think? Just more harder to find a black out ones.

alright, thanks for the tips guys. ill shoot for invoice, and see if i can get close. may order from atlanta to see if i can get a better deal since i test drove one there. (only 2.5 hours from atl) they had one with quite a bit of extra slp stuff and without even haggling they offered me 1k off but that still brought the price to 31.8k

im waiting on a settlement from insurance so i wanted to go ahead and put in the order so by the time i get the car ill have the money (hopefully) instead of waiting to get the money, then ordering and maybe having to wait for a 2014

2014 could possibly be the new generation. That could be good or bad...

Nope! I mean I don't really "need" a new car, and I could certainly settle for the WRX and be happy with it 90% of the time. But you only live once, and I'd like to do that without regrets so I generally get what I want. As I've gotten older I have definitely become more conservative, but I'm still way on the risk-aggressive side of the bell curve.

Last Monday when I went in to inquire about ordering they just got in a Base WRX Hatch in SWP. I got to start it up & sit inside and check it all out. As sweet as it was I wanted a Sedan instead. Plus I had a hatch when I had my Mazdaspeed3.

I wanted a rex last year...no one had any...bought a honda accord exl (leather/limited) and I couldnt care less about the heated leather or sunroof i use when its cloudy or at night. Didn't feel fogs were worth it either.(still got them for free).. so that's how I went with a fully loaded base lol

Yeah I took my 06 Impreza headlights apart and painted them, cool experiences, if I can't find anyone who wants to swap headlights, I'll just do the painting again, black out > black out with chrome rings lol

That blank space on the center console where the heated seat buttons go is the only thing that will drive me nuts. It's like oh hey remember when you coulda had a warm ass now that it's 10 degrees out...especially because I live in the northeast!

Dude I had a crazy day at work so I didn't get a chance. I refuse to waste a dealers time unless I can dedicate the time needed to let them know where I stand. Tomorrow or the next day should be quieter and I should be able to set an hour aside to make some calls

To the people who have relatively valuable trade-ins, how did your discussions work in regards to current and "future" values for your trade? Did they tell you an estimate when you brought it in and then said they'd do a real appraisal once you got your car, or did they give you a number and say that you would get that once your car came in? This is the main reason why I'm afraid to order a car because I have a bad feeling that the dealership is going to "appraise" my car for XXXXX and then when I go to trade it in when my ordered car gets here 6 months from now I'll be offered thousands of dollars less and tell me to take it or leave it.

I wonder if they can guarantee a price provided I don't drive a certain amount of miles or damage it in any way, I have a beater already and my trade-in is hibernating for the winter.
