Drove the long way home on route 50 through West Virginia and Maryland. It's so much easier running through corners stupid fast in a car than a motorcycle. The same run on the Aprilia would leave me worn out.

Got the RA's on today. Had to do so in some sprinkling rain but tree cover helped for sure.

And a bonus shot of a picture the 'ole lady got with her phone! Pretty cool.

Took the stock STi spoiler/trunk off in preparation for a wingless Impreza trunk

Removed the STi spoiler from the trunk. Need to grind off the rust and then prep it for painting.

Helped my son do a Killer Bee oil pickup and baffle plate in his 04 RS with an 05 STi full swap.

Note, if you leave the battery connected, jacking up the engine to get the oil pan off may make the starter positive post contact the clutch master cylinder.......
So, I spent some time making new battery negative to chassis grounds.
:-(

Finally hit the two week(ish) mark for acrylic laquer (automotivetouchup aerosol) cure and polishing my climate bezel. Just need to get the proper radio bezel now

Before

After

May end up painting it yellow if the silver becomes blinding from sun reflection.

If I posted in this thread yesterday my response would have been "gotten a speeding ticket in her" . Today I dipped my stock wheels gold in prep for winter. The pic is before and after.

Swapped out my front emblem like so:

Also, does anyone know if this is the stock bugeye badge? I thought they were dark blue (I suppose it could've faded).

Maybe that's aftermarket?

I thought the genuine Subaru symbol has connected stars.

I believe this is the stock bugeye badge or at least some sort of OEM special edition badge. I bought my 02 wrx from the original owner who kept it 100% stock and did everything through the dealership and my badge is black with separated stars

I trimmed the metal bracket that blocks the shift linkage so I could finally adjust my cobb short throw shifter to where it feels right without rubbing and detailed the interior a bit.

-I aligned my front lip with the wheel. It was sitting a little far up and there was a gap. Now it sits perfect. side profile is looking proper now.
-Took off the top leather portion of my steering wheel ( a picture above shows the horrible leather wrap) Now its smooth
-Took off my wrx wing and plugged the holes. Going to go with the no wing look for a little bit until Im tired of it.
-Also took the last badge off the car trunk that said SUBARU

Looks like my old stock badge.

I finished replacing the duty C solenoid in the SS. What a bitch!

My JDM V7 STi fog lights arrived yesterday. I had my buddy who does tint apply clear film to them and installed new brackets and the fogs. Holy ****! I had no idea how cool they look in person. It's like ****ing light sabers and ****!!!

Tomorrow I replace the blown steering rack on the SS. FML.
