please feel free to look at it as closely as you want. i had to remove some of the info on here on NASIOC regarding the issues i was facing with my '12 STI but let's just say that you don't want to overlook something(s) or find out things later and have Subaru buy back the car ; )

Update:
Order placed with Evanston Subaru Chicago on Aug 29, 2012, that's three weeks ago;

Get VIN today from Mike;

ETA on pipeline.pdf is Oct. 15 or earlier

And vehicle details:
2013 SWP Sti 4 door sedan base
Navi
Allseason Mats
SPT exhaust
Wheel lock
Auto Dimming

Yep I have Navi and that seems not delayed my date of xmas too much, well if the car really gets here no later than Oct 15.

Stay tuned

My ETA is 10/12. From what I read in previous posts, majority of the folks are 10/15.

I am most likely going to pick it up on 10/13. But would not mind driving back just for a quick get together/picture at the dealer if you all are picking your cars up on Monday.

How about you?...Anyone else ordered from Mike @ Evanston that got their ETA's for 10/12 to 10/15 here? So far its:

1. SenorDuck
2. Scoops86
3. idauntless
4. r3dm0nd?

Of course.. these are ESTIMATED time of arrivals

I'm not a Mike customer (I stayed local as they surprised me with their quote) but I called today because I hadn't even gotten an "estimated" time. Ended up talking to the sales manager who I've talked to a few times in the past, he says he thinks it was December last time he checked but give him a sec and he'll look.

He pauses and I wait in silence, all I hear is him say "wow". I'm sitting there like: What, did they cancel my order? Is it Feb? Instead he says, well we looked friday but apparently since then you got a VIN!

So no information -> October 10/11th (can't remember which). Since I'm two hours east of Chicago I'm assuming they are going to drop mine off on the way to you guys! I guess not getting NAV was a good call, because I ordered late

Ordered: 8/30
VIN: 9/19
Est: 10/11

Now I just need to sell my current car, lol. I was expecting November

When did you call SOA? Updates came late yesterday and today. Give your dealer a shout.

Called SOA last week, they told me December. Emailed my dealer today, they said I still didn't have a VIN. When I bought the car the dealer told me 6-8 weeks.

It's been poppin randomly the past couple of days, even for PBP which I expected to be delayed more than most. I wouldn't be surprised if you got an update in the next week.

Yeah I really hope so. It was bad enough knowing I had to wait 8 weeks. I'm not a patient person

I can now confirm from Mike and Omar that my 2013 DGM base STi sedan has been updated from an estimated NOV delivery to an ETA of October 15th with a VIN!!!!

I am so excited!!! Hopefully they can beat my 1.49% from my credit union for 60 months, but I doubt it.

Hopefully I have a smooth transaction with Evanston Subaru, which I have the utmost confidence in!

Awesome man, congrats. I can't wait until I actually am driving to the dealership to punch Mike in the nuts and take my Rex home to molest.

Updated to add me and Ronen91! Maybe we'll set a record for most wrx/sti's sold at a dealership in one day.

It seems as though most of the people who got 10/15ish updates ordered sedans.

Ordered a white WRX 4DR base with Mike, the ETA is 11/2. Since my car is on the same boat as the rest of you, so I should expect delivery around the same time. Can't wait.

Would anyone like to take a 2013 WRX/STI Chicago pic? I ordered my SWP STI from Grand Subaru, not Evanston. But I'd think it'd be sweet if we can get as many as possible for a Chicago pic.

I also ordered from Grand and have a 10/12 ETA: CBS WRX Premium 5-door.

I would be totally up for a regonal group photo. If anything, it would be cool to get together and do a pre-winter wax party or something.

Looks like they got 2013's up on Subaru.com now. For whatever that's worth. Oh and yeah be sure to pick up a glossy 2013 brochure when they come in! For me, that sort of junk is just cool to own with the car.

Farewell Lightning Red!
