Default wrx swap starting problem

almost finished my wrx swap but when i go to start the it just keeps cranking and not kicking over the thing i noticed is that the fuel pump doesn't even sound like it kicks on you dont hear it and then when i checked the voltage on the fuel pump connecter it was reading about 6 volts can someone help me? is there something im missing in the wiring why this is hapening?

You should not need a fuel pump controller. Depending on what model motor/car you have and what your putting in, there is usually a fuel pump relay. The relay itself could be bad.

What it sounds like to me is you are not getting the correct voltage which can mean 2 things....

You either have bad grounds or the power source you are tapping into is not correct.
If I remember correctly the fuel pump requires 12v full power source. (Check your diagrams first I dont want to be liable)
Make sure to CLEAN all your ground wire points and any ground the fuel system has. Simply resurfacing the area can literally make it work or not turn on.

2nd, after you check your grounds, make sure you are tapping into the correct power source. I believe the Fuel pump can be linked to the starters power source. Give that a try, or PM me with more details.

Not sure how you guys are bypassing the contoller unit,but I used one and my car fired up on the first try.
