Default BrenTuning A++

Hey NASIOC,

Iím here to write a little something about my experience on 6/11 at BrenTuning.

Just a little background, I was previously tuned by Junior at Prime and had no issues, until my car developed some nasty boost creep once it got warmer outside. Not Jrís fault whatsoever, I was running a catless J pipe.
My friend Tom was planning to get a full overhaul done to his EVO at Bren and asked me to take a ride with him, so I said u know what since Iím going I may as well grab a catted J pipe and strap her to the rollers
again!

From scheduling to work ethic they are a great shop. The MINUTE we arrived they grabbed the keys and moved the cars into the shop and began to work, I was on the dyno within 2 hours.

Bren was kind enough to let me sit in the car with him and explain how the ECU works and some of the parameters. He explained how itís set up to compensate for winter, and so on.

Very nice guy who wants your car to run safe.

Final numbers are 330/335, he could have gotten a lot more out of it but thatís where I wanted it for safety.
Mods are: Tgv, egr, ebcs, GS jpipe, invidia q300, GS intake, PW Verticooler.

I enjoy the way the car drives more than when it was catless, personal preference there.

Bren has the torque come on gentle and smooth and carry to redline, itís much more responsive on the highway with an immediate torque hit even when changing lanes at 60mph. I love my car even more again. Driveability is better than stock, itís so smooth even the 1-2 shift is like butter, this is how the car should feel like.

Thank you Bren!
