2004 sti build questions
New to the subaru game. I know that i want to get a turbo upgrade on the car. Just dont know which. i was wondering would it be better to max out a 20g with 390 awhp or do a bigger turbo like gt30r or gt35r at lower boost to do 390awhp. which will make the engine last longer. stock block sti perfect compression. Also will be running methanol injection and ewg with the setup

doesn't matter which turbo you go with, it's all in the tune. i suggest getting drop-in pistons as well.

20g will be hard pressed to hit 390 whp, even with meth. 30r would hit it without too much effort, 35r you're just loosing spool if that's the power you're interested in. Start saving up for a new engine as well...
