Default 2007 Texas NBA Thread!

Alright, the season is finally upon us! The best time of the year with the NFL, NBA, and NHL all in progress along with college football but this thread is for our teams that represent Texas! Spurs and Rockets play tonight, Mavs play tomorrow!

Devin Harris is now the starting point guard for the Mavs while Jason Terry will be the 6th man, Stackhouse is starting this year as well.

Are you serious?! Kobe could possible go to the MAVS!? GOD I HATE DIRK! I hate the Mavs and I cannot stand Kobe! Grrr! I was hoping my Rockets could go all the way this year hitting the brick wall of my no.1 team the Spurs.

/Dirk is a flopper. He learned that from Vlade Divac.
/Punks.

a basketball thread and korterhorse hasn't responded to each post individually?

I'm shocked.

anyway, I'm excited to see what this season brings for the Rockets.

I've heard some of the rumors about Kobe, but not anything about Dallas mixed in there. If Kobe does go, I'm just wondering how long it will be before Jackson decides to retire from coaching again.

Jackson waits until he sees what team has the best players in the NBA on it, then that's where he coaches...

It's why he has the best playoff record in basketball.

I'll agree with that - as far as making it harder for Dirk to get to the basket, or get a shot off. There is still a team of players that could have gotten it done. And it still took a hurricane of 3's from GS to win the series.

as much as I hate Kobe, he's got what it takes to get the Mavs a championship. Dirk sucks as a leader and sucks when it matters.

This is so true. Like the year he said they needed more out of the center position... If I was Dampier I would have told him he was 7', why doesn't he play center???

Got an awesome coach though...

That is because REAL centers do not flop on the ground like fish and WHINE like babies, for example Yao Ming could trip over a leaf.

*shudders* That clip is still ugly to watch. Yao is like a cowardly lion. Everyone longs for the day he toughens up and gets nasty but he is getting older and that dream is fading.

San Antonio never committed a foul last year so Duncan is right to cry...
