Looking good man. The red rally armor looks sharp against the color of your car!

I got red LED strips at AutoZone and wired them to the illumination lead that runs to the factory head unit. This lead is controlled by the factory dash dimmer that is to the left of the steering wheel. So my foot well lights are on when my driving lights or headlights are on and they dim with the dash lights. I found the 12 LED strips to be way too bright for night driving. I black taped out over half of the LEDs and was happy. I like to dim my dash / footwell lights a bit for dark night driving so this works perfect for me.

The toughest part was figuring out how to get the center console out for the first time. Once you see how to disconnect the mechanically controlled vent selector and hot/cold selector knobs (a control wire from the dials terminates in a loop. Just pop the loop off the white plastic piece they push/pull on)... All in all ... a 1 hour project with the right tools and mechanical / electrical inclination.

Footwell lights.

No need to take anything apart for install of the footwell lights. I bought 4 inch LEDs from Wally World (perfect brightness) for $13 and the add a fuse for $7 at autozone. I used the add a tap on the illumination fuse and grounded the LEDs to some frame bolts. I found this much easier than taking pieces out of my console and I have easy access in case there is trouble. Plus I'm not sure what would happen with any warranty issues if you have cut into your wires. Just my 2 cents.

When I figure out how to post pics on my mobile app I will show you how I did it.

I like it. Nice. I actually didn't cut into the factory illum wire. That lead retained continuous continuity. I just exposed enough of the conductor to tap off of. I could have used those crimp on connector taps, but didn't have any at the time so I just did it manually. The super low draw of these LEDs have no bearing on the circuit.

While doing an oil change and tire rotate on the wife's 13 Sport, I installed my old 2009 WRX brakes I had laying around on her Impreza. Calipers are the same, so you just need the brackets and rotors. I won't have any feedback for awhile as I have a broken bolt in driver's side bracket. I prefer fixed calipers though, so I may grab a set of 4-pots instead.

Anyhoo, since this is a picture thread, here are some almost useless pics.

News SWP 2013 Subaru Impreza 2.0i

Here's two pictures I took with my friend's WRX when I first got the car and two after I installed RA Mud Flaps. Warning - Heavy HDR/Photoshop abuse in pictures.

Planning to install a new exhaust, sharkfin antenna, and HID projectors later this year. KB Short Shifter is in the mail for Monday!

Looks good. I just ordered yellow overlays myself. I have a limited so, like you, I have the silver trim piece around the fogs. I personally prefer how the yellow overlays look on the sport fogs that don't have that silver trim. Oh well, still looks cool.

What are you using for high and low beams?

Where did you order your overlays from? I was going to order from Crux Motorsports before they redesigned their site and took the 2012-2013 Impreza overlays off.

I actually have the Premium trim. And no changes to high and low beams, just stock bulbs with the yellow overlays.

I got both my badge and foglight overlays from jdmfanaticvinyl.com
They have them on their website and eBay. I ordered straight from the website because they only had the black w/ red stars listed in eBay. It was $18 for the badge overlays and $10 for the yellow overlays I think, I dont remember exactly.

Oh okay thanks I'll take a look I wish they didn't charge like $8 to ship the overlays to Canada. I would ship them to a package place across the border except they don't accept letter mail. Yours came in an envelope right as opposed to like a package?

My shipping was free. Yes it came in a small orange envelope with cardboard so so it didn't crease or fold. They even sent me an extra fog overlay, in case I messed up I suppose lol.

How thick are they? I had headlight armor on my factory foglights, it is 20mil thick and did an excellent job at protecting
