whether its in my head, or actual power I don't really know, but I swear I really did feel a bit more oomph everywhere in the powerband. Seemed to pull harder to redline, and I could labor it around in higher gears more.

Think Borla for your headers. The header test should be out tomorrow, so look in the 2.0 forum for it then.

Titatium exhausts=biggest waste of money evAr!!!!1! It's your money though.

Biggest waste of money evar is/was drugs (including cigarettes).

Titanium exhaust is a bargain compared to these.

Let' see... pack a day at $2.50 = $912.50 per year.

Also, car parts hold their value better than technology like computers and scanners and camcorders and stuff like that.

I disagree. Ti titaniums are worth every penny. the whole system weighs less than the OEM midpipe. something like 9 lbs or something. Titanium doesn't rust. Usually, Ti systems are of a higher-end so you get good fit/finish.

$1300 for the header... what kind of power do you think its going to give you? 20lbs up top is a high average. Does that sound like a cost effective mod? A turbo kit could be had for the same price and give you better power all over the rev range not just up top or down low depending on the header design. Borla is the last header you should go with, cheap crap. Search for the cracking problems people have had with them. Even the new gen 4s crack... and not shocking they are only tack welded. I agree that I wouldnt waste my money on a Ti exhaust...

Edit: Just look at the pics of a borla and you can see the problems... When I helped to install one for a friend I couldnt help but laugh. The Invidia looks very nice, but hardly makes sense at that price... Dont for get about port matching the stocker as an option.

The GP MOTO header I sell is half that price and virtually the same design. Definately cost effective for under $600.

I alsoe sell a Titanium TURBOBACK for cheaper than the JIC TI catback.

Just food for thought.

I have a jic full ti on my car. Beautiful exhaust, not nearly as loud as my friends blitz nur spec r. That is a crazy loud exhaust. On the highway, the jic doesnt drown out and you can still hear people in the car. Fitment was perfect. Beautiful exhaust in my mind and worth every penny. I'll try and get some pics up.

The JIC exhaust is not that loud when used with a resonator, however, the system without the resonator... well, you've already heard reviews on that.

The Invidia headers I got fit like CRAP!

Called the retailer who called them. They told him I must be putting it on wrong. I dont need to list my skills but lets say I am more than qualified. I asked to speak them directly and was told by the retailer that he was told "your job is to talk to the customer not ours"

Pictures avaliable on request.

it is a matter of opinion. I think Ti exhaust is one of the best mod money can buy, 20 lbs weight saving with absolutely no down side other then the slightly higher price.

remember POWER to WEIGHT ratio is everything.

I'ld like to know which borla headers you were trying to install on wrx that were in their 4th gen.... WRX headers are 2nd gen right now. with minimal problems. The only problems I would see in terms of fitment, is the location of the o2 bung. Granted they don't look as pretty as some headers out there, but in a pressurized system on a street car at high revs, I doubt the difference will be that great on street. Dyno numbers are important numbers but I doubt you'll notice much difference in 1/4 mile times between the headers.
