Default Cold Air Intake System for 2008-14 WRX, 2008-16 STI

Increase horsepower and style under your hood. PERRIN Performance intake systems use proper MAF alignment and plumbing size, both of which are crucial to maintain proper air fuel ratios and prevent check engine lights that plague competitors.

California and several other states have adopted an emission standard for the regulation of road vehicles created by the California Air Resource Board (CARB). This standard must be met and approved for a system to become CARB certified. When a system becomes approved by meeting the criteria laid out by CARB, it receives a unique identifier known as an EO number and is certified for legal road use.

EO Number: D-735

Our intakes are constructed from aluminum tubing, which is precision CNC mandrel bent, for consistent and perfectly fitting parts. Our MAF sensor bung is CNC machined for perfect fit and alignment of MAF sensor to intake. This is crucial for proper air fuel ratios and ECU engine management.

Remember NASIOC customers get a better deal then MSRP, just PM me

i like perrin products a lot. i have a bunch of them on my car already and i really want this intake. my only problem with it is that its aluminum and its going to heat soak like a mofo. also theres no heat shield like some of the other intakes on the market.

also is this intake going to compatible with your front mount for the 2015+ STIs?

Most intakes are going to be made out of aluminum, you really would not notice any big differences other wise. and that kinda goes the same for the heat shield, unless you have a 100% track car, those intake temp are not going to matter that much.

Yes or intake is going to be compatible with our FMIC, you just need the smaller 9" filter.
