Can you make the car a little brighter? Feel like the bright sky over powers the car.

There are two things I can't get past with that set... One, is how bright the car is compared to everything else. Two, there is actually less contrast in the car than in the background. On this last shot, I can see the brush strokes in the car from the adjustments you've made.

It could just be my monitor, but they're calibrated so I'm inclined to trust them.

i think i see what you mean i can see where its like the shadow just is missing around the back wheel which i can only assume is from the brush. I used to have that issue as well and started proofing my brushes with "O" after the fact and being sure to keep the pink to only the car. If you didnt bring it up though i wouldnt have noticed it.

working on some more light painting last night. This shot is from my 17mm its actually cropped to follow the rule of thirds and the camera is MAYBE 10 feet away from the car this lens is crazy wide haha.

The best tip? Don't shoot on bright sunny days.

The alternative? Multiple exposures blended in post, or adjustment layer on the wheels and boost the exposure that way.
