Could easily swap in bigger injectors as the turbo has plenty more room to breathe. At 20psi the injectors were at 90% IDC so the tuner felt safe there

05 WRX with built ej255 (forged piston and rods, heat treated crank) stock heads (DBC so no avcs, hence the slight lag)

That thing is a monster. How much would AVCS help the lag?

Update I got the car back but they could not street tune it comfortably (there dyno is down) so I made an appointment for Wednesday at another shop for the tune.
I will say this turbo is super loud lol sounds awesome you can start hearing it around 3500rpm. Can't wait for the tune it will be on a Mustang dyno.

Update
I was gonna tune my car, I was driving it with the shops "base map" and it started ticking..
Went back to the they did a compression test and cylinder 4 is at 130psi and the rest at 150. They're saying it's the bearing. Not sure what to do.

Sorry to hear that dude. Pretty much it needs to come apart to see what all happened and the extent of the damage.

Yeah sucks because I just got the car together and barely drove it on there base map..
The shop that did all the work doesn't want anything to do with the damage. The "base map" on my car says cobb stage 2 map 91 fuel. When they knew my car was on e85. After some inspection they hooked up my boost lines incorrectly so it basically can hit whatver boost it wants to. Not sure if that has anything to do with what happened.
Already looking around to behind the built engine.

Got mine tuned last night. Tuner wanted to keep torque low at spoolup to keep the stock engine together. 364whp/330wtq on 93 pump. Once the built block goes in, 420ish whp on pump doesn't look unreasonable. Do not get the internal wastegate. We could not keep it from creeping to 21-22psi.

Probably just for emergency purposes but I haven't really run 93 in the last 4 years.

What injectors are you getting?

I was going to get the HTZ Green for my build, but I figured for the same price, I might as well get the Red with room to grow. I'm worried I will run out of injector on E85 though. (ID 1300's) Sea level

Not to take over the thread but has anyone had a problem with the internal wastegate on the HTZ FP Green? Because mine wont open until it hits 25psi on the dyno.

That is weird. I got tuned on wastegate pressure just last night and was pushing about 17psi on it. Might wanna get it checked out.
