Default Need Advice on Detailing Services

I recently took off decals of my car and theres alot of decal impression throughout the car and some discoloration through out too. My question is what service at a detail shop would I need to get it removed or improved would it be a paint correction or just a polish?

a polish will likely make it look better, but depending how long the decals were on the car, nothing might hide them. parts under stickers dont get sun fade.

I'd take it to a shop and ask their opinion and probably get a couple different opinions from a couple different shops. Hard to say without seeing it..

Technically, polishing IS paint correction. A good detailer will start with a mild polish first to see if that removes the defect, then move up the scale of aggressiveness until the desired result is achieved. And as lefty mentioned, the age of the car has a lot to do with your decision. Example, there's not much to gain, and a lot to lose, by polishing aggressively on an older car with diminished clear coat to begin with.
