hey everyone I'm originally from the cleveland area. I live out in chicago but frequently make trips home. I'm going to try and make it to a meet next time I'm around. As for the new speeding law I got pulled over this last time I was home by a geauga county sheriff and he estimated my speed at 68mph couldn't prove it with his radar. He was going to give me a ticket until i proved to him that I was only going 53mph with my datalogger. I ended up calling the sheriffs department and filing a formal complaint... Haven't heard anything back yet...

^ Motorists in other areas in the US have won cases based on GPS data...hopefully, this'll work with the datalogger, too.... I'm no lawyer, so all I can say is best of luck!

Ok so I've posted on here a few times regarding my services of transport for free...lol there's a company down here in cinci called turn in concepts and they're the reigning Redline Time Attack champs and they will be racing in one of the only redline races east of the mississippi next weekend in chicago, just wanted to give everyone a heads up bc I'm making the trek from cinci, and should someone from the great city of CLE want to go, I'd be glad to meet them on the highway...the races are the 12th and 13th, not sure on times, so check RTA's site...hope to see some on ya'll there, pm me for my phone number if you wanna cruise up, we need as many subaru fans there as possible bc cobb's gtr has been doing a little too well for my liking

Oh and if you guys don't know who Turn In Concepts are, definitely check them out, they are first class guys and carry first class parts and they're the only ppl I will trust with my sti...dealerships can go straight to hell with their synthetic oil policy...

Sounds fun but I'm stuck in Cleveland that weekend!

I'm indif with the speeding law. If someone is doing 50 in a 25, or 100 in a 60... that kind of stuff I agree with. But visually estimating a speeder at 5-15 over? That's what radar and laser is for, correct for human error.

Innocent until proven guilty. With this your guilty from the start, unless you can somehow prove the cop visually estimating is blind.

Question

Who do I have to bribe or kill in order to get my membership activated on forced4s?

On another note...Is there anyone who won't charge me up the wazoo to dismount the craptastic runflats off of my stock wheels and put my Blizzaks on them? I've spent $120 twice this year to do this and it sure seems like a lot.

Anyone have a connection? Thanks in advance.

*BTW, I now have two sets of rims and tires for the Mini, so this will be that last time that I have to do this.

^ I know they've been having some problems with registration. I'll cross-reference this post to one of the Forced4s admins, tonight.

^ Forced4s. Quaker Steak and Lube, in Valley View. Thursday nights, IIRC.

Check the Forced4s.com website, to be sure.

Sadly, I'm only really active online (well, my old Tactrix cable does get passed around like the clap ).....
