Thumbs up So I got my new car.AutoX fans help me out.

I asked a while ago what to get. I only had around $10G's to spend.

I sold some extra parts that I had,and ended up with around $11K.

I searched and searched, listened to y'all, and looked around.

I wanted something reliable,and with a warranty.

I found a 99' SI for $14k,and my fiancee' said buy it,and gave me the cash.

So I have the car,a 100k HondaCare warranty,and I love the car.

So, 5 questions:
1. What class would I be in? What cars would be in my class?
2. What mods would I be allowed? I would like to do the following:
Intake,Header,cat-back.
3. Suspension-wise,,I would like maybe bushings,a sway bar swap, and maybe shocks.
4. Tires:something with reasonably good street wear, and traction. Right now,it has Michelen MXGTV's or something like that..
5. I want to put an LSD in the front. I am too used to Subaru type traction, and an LSD would help allay bad feelings.

If you do nothing you're in E Stock. Not a bad car for that, but I don't think anyone trophied in one last year. Could be wrong!

If you do everything else you mentioned EXCEPT the LSD you're in Street Touring and should probably run street tires since STR isn't well-supported.

If you must have an LSD then it's ugly either way-- you can be in D Street Prepared, against lightweights, or in Street Modified against all sorts of stuff but most of it with gobs of horsepower.

Who would I be competing with in E stock?

What is street touring? What cars compete in that class? Does "not well supported" mean that SCCA doesnt promote the class well,or that not many people will be competing in it?
