I am very tempted to do this on mine, I was thinking blaze orange, but the yellow and blue works so good together.

Also if any of you are on the DYC forum please vote for my car for dip of the month

Yeah definitely liking the blaze yellow wheels, I think I am sold!!! I will do a photoshop picture to confirm and then buy the paint.

How good is the coverage for this color? The wheels are already dipped white and good condition so I could dip over, how many cans did people use? and did you just do the face or inside and out?

Scubie_Craig I live in Salem NH. With work I travel a lot through Southern and Seacoast. Thanks for the compliment although I did it in bad lighting and need to add additional coats. Pic cheats the quality.

Cheesyfella. Minimum 3-4 cans to heavily coat. I did light coats waiting 15min between. There's probably 6 on there now but I missed spots due to lighting. Looks great in spots I did correctly. Coverage is great over white!

Just the front face. I used plastic bags to cover the brakes and inner rim. Fairly clean overall.

I used a can of white per wheel and a can of yellow per wheel. Only did the front side. Waited 15 mins between coats and an hour after final coat before putting back on the car.

UGH! NEVER SPRAY TIRE WET ONTO PLASTIDIP!! It ate through it like a fat kid eats donuts. This will probably make it much harder to remove now.

Lesson to learn more is don't use that toxic spray crap that just slings all over your car when you drive.

Really? I always use meguiars tire shine and I haven't had problems on my wheels at all. I wipe any spots that might drip on to the plasti dip and leave it.

I actually sprayed my dipped wheels with tire shine on purpose and it looked great, but returns to normal in about 2 days. No damage done. Its Armor All i believe.
